What started as a simple idea ended up to be a long creative process. I was initially ispired by Hermès scarves but eventually I added more symbols representing functional objects of quotidian life.

I repeatedly use the push-pin as a fetishized item, a test-object that allows me to discover new materials. Its symmetry and simplicity compete with its phallic symbolism creating a bizarre and threatening toy.
